Itinerary

Day 1 - ARRIVAL IN VANCOUVER
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel.

Day 2 - VANCOUVER
Take a tour of the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park. It has exhibits, guided nature walks, adventurous activities, colourful totem poles and native carvings. Experience a trilling ‘tree top adventure’ and discover seven acres of rainforest.

Day 3 – VANCOUVER TO POWELL RIVER (140km)
Drive along the coast past the rugged scenery and serene inlets. Powell River offers great outdoor activities including sea kayaking, sailing, fishing and mountain biking.

Day 4 – POWELL RIVER TO TOFINO (233km)
Cross the Strait of Georgia by ferry to Vancouver Island. You may even see orcas and other marine life. Travel through ancient rainforests and provincial parks with the opportunity to see bears, deer and wolves.

Day 5 – TOFINO
This attractive fishing village is a premier whalewatching and bearwatching destination. At low tide, board the high-tech Zodiac boat and speed along the lush coastline to the bear’s feeding grounds.

Day 6 – TOFINO TO NANAIMO AND PARKSVILLE (205km)
Drive back along the east coast of the island which takes you along many hidden gems including native rock carvings.

Day 7 – NANAIMO AND PARKSVILLE TO VICTORIA (115km)
Travel along the scenic Malahat Drive and take a detour to visit the murals of Chemainus, the forest museum or the Quw’utsun Cultural centre in Duncan. Enjoy traditional High Tea at the elegant Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Day 8 – VICTORIA
Take park in an exhilarating round trip of 50-80 kilometres in search of orcas, mink whales, porpoises, harbour seals and other marine wildlife. Ride aboard a covered boat complete with certified marine biologist and naturalist.

Day 9 - END OF TOUR
Take a mini cruise back to Vancouver. Return to Vancouver International Airport in time for check in for your return flight.
